We spend roughly a third of our lives sleeping, so choosing where to spend those all-important hours may seem like a daunting task. For most of us, buying a mattress is a true investment—one that will last five to seven years or maybe more, and directly impacts our mental and physical health. The decision is personal and intimate, but the traditional retail buying experience can be rife with stressors, from fluorescent showroom lights to pushy salespeople and sub-par delivery options.
Luckily, Casper has come along to shake up the stagnant sleep industry, replacing lumpy innerspring coil with lush memory foam and exorbitant markups with direct-to-consumer convenience. Plus, with the help of some sleek making-of animations and charming unboxing videos, Casper’s e-commerce shopping experience is just plain fun. In 2015, just a year after they sold their first mattress, near-universal acclaim and an incredible founding team made the decision to invest easy. Today, as a market-leading brand that’s synonymous with a better night’s sleep, Casper continues to change people’s lives for the better.
